The recent EAS-EATiP workshop on Fish welfare (October 2015, Rotterdam, The Netherlands) discussed the differnet aspects of fish welfare. Taking good care of the fish is a paramount consideration of the fish farmer – to secure survival, obtain good performance and, in the end, provide top quality products. Knowledge of the fish being reared, its performance and its interaction with technology are important to reduce losses during the complete production cycle. An expert panel discussed these links – and shed light on research issues and the solutions needed. Summary report - AE2015-EAS-EATIP-day-SUMMARY-REPORT.pdf
