The overall goal of ClimeFish is to help ensure that the increase in seafood production comes in areas and for species where there is a potential for sustainable growth, given the expected developments in climate, thus contributing to robust employment and sustainable development of rural and coastal communities.

The University of Tromso coordinates this projects. 21 institutes from 16 countries work together to face the challenges of climate changes on the fisheries and aquaculture industries, and 3 stakeholders have significant roles and responsibilities in the project in relation to the knowledge production, analysis and innovation activities. FEAP is one of them and facilitates stakeholder debates and dissemination activities within its European arenas.
