]]> Availability of Veterinary Medicines /2024/12/12/feap-calls-for-availability-of-veterinary-medicines/ Thu, 12 Dec 2024 09:08:24 +0000 /?p=9673 With its latest position paper, FEAP wants to highlight the bottlenecks, progresses and remaining challenges in the use of antibiotics and other drugs in fish farming, with the main focus on ensuring fish health and welfare, limiting the onset of antimicrobial resistance and implementing sound management practices in fish disease management.

FEAP alerts on the lack of uniformity in implementing EU regulations and restrictive application of these by Member states, causing problems and disturbances in production, welfare and markets. Read more
