NewTechAqua celebrated its first annual meeting
February 12, 2021
The NewTechAqua partners celebrated their first annual meeting since the beginning of the project in January 2020. The meeting, hosted by the lead partner University of Bologna (UNIBO) and organised digitally, took place on 2 and 3 February 2021. Over 90 NewTechAqua colleagues from from more than 20 partner organisations attended the two days of the meeting.
The meeting presented the achievements and work done in the first year of the project and discussed the upcoming activities to implement in the next year to come. While the first day focused mainly on presenting the progress and upcoming goals of the different Work Packages (WP), the second day offered a plenary session and five thematic workshops allowing attendees to dive deep into NewTechAqua topics and discuss ways to make European aquaculture more sustainable.
Despite the ongoing pandemics, NewTechAqua has managed to carry out a tremendous amount of work and follow its objectives within the first year. The upcoming year is going to be even busier and will bring plenty of exciting news and results from the project!
