GFCM workshop in Oran, 11 February 2024
On February 11th, FEAP took part in a GFCM workshop in Oran /Algeria focusing on collaborative and informed approach to address the complex interplay between aquaculture and climate change.
The goal of the workshop was to facilitate a deep understanding of the challenges posed by climate change in aquaculture and propose effective and resilient strategies for sustainable development in the sector. FEAP General secretary Javier Ojeda took part online, presenting the current actions, proposals and perspectives of farmers, associations and FEAP in promoting joint actions in achieving these goals.
