FEAP joins the call for an EU Action Plan on Blue Foods

On 3 September, leading organisations from across Europe’s fisheries and aquaculture sectors — European Bureau for Conservation and Development (EBCD), European Association of fish Producers Organisations (EAPO), AIPCE CEP | European Fish Processors and Traders Association, FEAP, Europêche – formally launched a joint call for an EU Action Plan on Blue Foods at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The event, hosted by CARMEN CRESPO DIAZ, Chair of the EP Committee on Fisheries, brought attention to the role of aquatic foods in Europe’s food security, climate strategy, and coastal resilience.

The coalition calls on the European Commission to act — turning vision into reality with a clear roadmap to place blue foods where they belong: at the heart of Europe’s table.
