FEAP @ AQUAFARM, Pordenone 2023

On February 16, FEAP took part in the Aquafarm International conference and trade show event, our main messages were:

• The COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine have threatened the viability of the EU’s aquaculture sector and caused significant disruption to markets, production, investments and innovation
• We need to ensure that national authorities use all available aid instruments, avoiding the creation of an uneven playing field across the EU in terms of aid amounts provided and access conditions.
• Need to simplify and reduce the administrative burden in the access to EMFAF aid measures.

This presentation was the opportunity to once again repeat our call to all stakeholder levels, to work better together for a sustainable and profitable European aquaculture sector.
