Vision for Agriculture and Food

The EC has published its Vision for agriculture and food, a document aiming at fostering trust and dialogue across the entire value chain within the EU and globally. The Vision emphasises close engagement with relevant institutions, farmers, food chain operators, and civil society at local and regional levels, addressing their concerns and ideas. FEAP and the EUseafood alliance (EUsea) partners (EAPO, AIPCE, CEP, EUROPECHE) have pushed for a consistant integration of aquatic food production, both wild caught and farmed, as a pillar of European food sovereignty. FEAP and its partners will ensure that this vision is in line with the upcoming European Ocean Pacts and its preparatory dialogues.
