On February 14th and 15th, FEAP took part in the Aquafarm 2024 expo in Pordenone, Italy. AquaFarm is an international exhibition-conference on aquaculture, organized by Pordenone Fiere in collaboration with API, the Italian Fish Farmers Association and AMA, the Mediterranean Aquaculture Association. With over 130 exhibitors, 35% coming from abroad and almost 7,000 m2 of exhibition area, this exhibition also provides the opportunity to share with institutional and market stakeholders during workshops and panel sessions. FEAP presented its work and advice to farmers associations and all present, focusing on the climate change impacts and how the industry should turn this existential challenge into a transformative opportunity, as well as on the policy and regulation adjustments needed to unleash the full potential of European aquaculture and fish farming.
